The President of Asiwaju Support Moving Train (ASMT), Hon Mujidat Folashade Adegbenro, has congratulated Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his emergence as the country’s president-elect.
Hon. Adegbenro applauded the leadership and members of the party, All Progressive Congress (APC) for their roles in the last presidential election.
The ASMT gave the commendation during her visit to the members of the group in Ogun State on Thursday March 2, 2023.
Speaking during the visitation, Adegbenro stated, “On behalf of the entire leadership and members of Asiwaju Support Moving Train (ASMT) home and Abroad, I congratulate Your Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on your emergence as Nigeria’s president-elect through the election which took place on 25th of February, 2023.”
She added, “Indeed, it’s a New dawn to our nation as your impactful leadership gave you a mandate you tagged ‘Renewal Hope 23.”
She noted that Asiwaju emerged with a landslide victory.
“That signifies the confidence the electorate has in your insightful leadership,” she stated.
“As you move forward into the 21st century as the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, May
God grant you good health to serve our great country and humanity,” she added.
Hon Folashade appealed to the Movement to continue their support for the APC and prepare adequately for a groundbreaking victory in the governorship and assembly elections.
Also speaking, the Patron of the Ogun State chapter of ASMT, Alhaji Mutairu Owoeye, appreciated the president of the Movement for her visit.
Owoeye also commended the leadership and members of ASMT for their overwhelming support in the last election.
While assuring the Movement of inclusive governance, he reaffirmed hope and trust in Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Hon Adegbenro is the wife to the Late Dr. Olufemi Ayodeji Ogunsola, Former Federal Character Commissioner for Kwara State.
