The Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has declared Friday 24th February, 2023 work-free day for the State Civil Servants.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the State Head of Service, Mrs Susan Modupe Oluwole on Thursday February 23, 2023.
According to the statement, this holiday is to enable the state workers to travel down to their respective polling areas to actively participate in the presidential election holding on Saturday.
The governor admonished all citizens of the state particularly the civil servants to perform their civil responsibility during the electioneering period without any acrimony.
