The Chairman, Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon Rasaq Olusola Ajala, has inaugurated new facilities at Ayantuga Health Centre.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Special Adviser on Information and Orientation to the chairman, Mr Babatunde Abubakar, on Tuesday January 24, 2023.
According to the statement, the health centre was renovated and upgraded with modern facilities.
While addressing the people in front of the centre at Ayantuga Street, Hon. Ajala stated that he promised the people of the LCDA while traversing the nook and crannies of the LCDA soliciting their votes that he would ensure that the health centre is upgraded.
He said the equipment at the place has over time been stolen. He, however, told the gathering that CCTV cameras have now been installed in the centre.
Provisions have also been made to separate the maternity patients from other ones.
He stated that the place is now secured with an electric fence.
Other facilities are the new pharmacy and the provision of one additional consulting room with the one already on the ground.
Restrooms have also been provided for the doctors who are on night duties,
“There is also new equipment in the laboratory. Television sets have been procured in the waiting room for the relaxation of the people at the centre,” the chairman said.
Other equipment includes washing machines and a generator for power supply as well as other equipment.
While addressing the gathering, the All Progressive Congress Chairman in Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon Ismail Babatunde Kazeem (TUNKAZ), stated that what people were witnessing was the fulfilment of the party manifesto.
He urged them to use their power of thumb to vote for all the party’s candidates in the coming election.
The highlight of the event was the cutting of the tape for the inauguration of the new facilities by the council chairman.
At the event were the leader of the legislative arm of government in Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon Rilwan Ola Ajenifuja, and some councillors, supervisors, HODs, and SAs to the chairman.
The All Progressive Congress Chairman in Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon. Ismail Babatunde Kazeem (TUNKAZ), party leaders, and members were also present.
Others were Iyaloja General, Alhaja Mufuliat Adebunmi, and other market leaders.
