The Lagos State government has begun the distribution of grants to the vulnerable residents in the state.
This was disclosed in a report on Wednesday January 18, 2023.
According to the report, the gesture was in partnership with the Federal Government.
“Lagos State Government in collaboration with the Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development started the distribution of cash grants to poor and vulnerable residents of the State yesterday at Police College Ground, GRA, Ikeja Lagos,” th report says.
It adds that “Beneficiaries of the cash grant cuts across all the 20 Local Government Areas and 37 Local Council Development Areas in Lagos State.”
