The Women’s Wing of the Nasrul-lahi-li Fathi Society of Nigeria, NASFAT, (Owutu Branch) has presented a grinding machine to Lagos rehabilitation centre 2 along Owutu Ishawo Road, Lagos State.
While disclosing this to The Naija News on Saturday January 14, 2023, the Branch Assistant Missioner, Imam Saheed Oladele, stated that the gesture was in fulfilment of the promise made during the visitation to the centre in October, 2022.
“Sometime in October 2022, the women’s wing of the branch visited the centre as part of the activities for the annual week programme, we promised to present a grinding,” Sheikh Oladele said.
He added, “This year, we decided to fulfil our promise. And the machine was presented to the centre.”
He stated further that the gesture was aimed at supporting the centre as part of NASFAT welfare packages.
Also at the presentation of the machine were the Owutu branch women’s affairs Secretary, Alhaja Modinat Ishola; member of the women’s wing, Alhaja Afusat Oladepo.
Others were the Head of the centre, Mrs Oniru and the Assistant Chief Missioner, Imam Saheed Oladele.
NASFAT is a Nigerian Muslim prayer group with a focus on youth, women and the elite. The group has over one million members in Nigeria.
