The members of the Zone A Isashi Tuntun Community Development Area in the Ibeshe area of Ikorodu has organised a thanksgiving service to mark the end of year 2022.
The event was held on Tuesday December 27, 2022, under the chairmanship of Alhaji Abdulrahmon Hammed-Aare.
The event began with sermons taken by Christian and Muslim clerics.
In his sermon, Pastor Afedigba, E.A, admonished the gathering to always appreciate God in every situation they find themselves.
Making references to the Scriptures, he stated that “the only way to keep recording progress is to be thankful to what God does for us.”
In his sermon, one of the CDA Muslim clerics, Imam Ahmad Adeshina, stated that Allah loves those who appreciate Him. “Gratitude to Allah is a passport to getting more blessings from Him,” he preached.
Both clerics prayed fervently for the growth and development of the CDA.
In his speech, the Chairman Zone A Isashi Tuntun CDA, Alhaji Abdulrahmon Hammed-Aare, appreciated everyone at the event.
“I must sincerely commend you for making it here despite your tight schedules,” he said.
“It shows your level of commitment to the well-being of this CDA,” Alhaji Aare added.
He also leveraged the avenue to appreciate those who facilitated the FG projects within the community.

He urged everyone to promote unity, stressing that it is the only thing that can keep the community growing.
