FCT police arrest second most wanted kidnap kingpin ‘Habu Ibrahim’

In a significant breakthrough against the rampant wave of kidnappings in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and its surrounding areas, the FCT Police Command successfully captured the elusive Samaila Wakili Fafa, also known as ‘Habu Ibrahim,’ on February 24, 2024, at approximately 7:05 PM.

Acting on actionable intelligence, police operatives executed a daring operation in the Sardauna Forest, Toto, Nasarawa State, leading to the long-awaited arrest of the notorious kidnap kingpin.

Wakili, a prime target on the FCT Police’s wanted list, had a bounty placed on his head by the Honorable Minister of FCT. This successful operation follows the earlier arrest of Saidu Abdulkadir, alias ‘Dahiru Adamu,’ the other individual on the Minister’s list.

During interrogation, Wakili confessed to orchestrating and executing numerous high-profile kidnappings in the FCT and its surroundings. Notably, these included the abductions of Barrister Chris Agidy, legal aid to Senator Ned Nwoko, and Mr. Sunday Yahaya Zakwai, the district head of Ketti Village, both of whom tragically lost their lives at the hands of Wakili’s syndicate. In a grim turn of events, Wakili led police operatives to the location where the remains of Barrister Chris Agidy were recovered and subsequently deposited at Gwagwalada General Hospital.
