Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is set to address the residents in a media chat on Thursday, shedding light on the state government’s strategic initiatives amidst challenging times.
The chat, scheduled for 11:15 am, aims to provide insight into the state’s progress and future plans in crucial areas such as food security, the environment, health, physical planning, and infrastructure.
Frontline journalists from prominent media outlets including Channels TV, Arise, TVC, and LTV will be present to pose pressing questions to the governor.
The interactive session will also be broadcast live on radio stations, including Lagos Traffic Radio 96.1 FM and Eko FM 89.7, ensuring a widespread reach to the citizens.
Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed his commitment to the welfare of Lagosians, stating, “We will let our people know what we have done and what we will be doing about their welfare, their lives, and livelihoods. We will not leave them to their own devices.”
This media chat is a part of his strategic plan for regular engagements with the residents, following the successful Lagos West Town Hall Meeting held on January 25.
The Honourable Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, emphasized the significance of the upcoming announcement, hinting at key policies that will impact the lives of all Lagosians positively.
