MC Oluomo transits to national president, passes power to Sego as Lagos State NURTW chairman

Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya Ayinde, the esteemed Chairman of the National Union Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Lagos State, has announced the amicable resolution of a recent dispute, revealing a harmonious path forward for the organization.

During a press conference held in Lagos, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya Ayinde, popularly known as MC Olumo, shared the uplifting news with NURTW members and the general public.

He declared, “I am pleased to inform the Lagos state council National union road transport workers members and the general public that the little misunderstanding between us, Alh. Mustapha Adekunle (Sego), Alhaji Sulaimom (Kudeleti), and I has been amicably resolved.”

In a spirit of unity and cooperation, MC Olumo revealed the strategic transition plan for the NURTW leadership.

“While I will be moving to the federal level and assuming the esteemed role of National President of our NURTW, Alh. Mustapha Adekunle (Sego) will be taking over from me as the Lagos State chairman of NURTW.”

The announcement signifies a smooth handover of responsibilities, emphasizing the commitment to stability and continuity within the organization.

MC Olumo, known for his leadership prowess, expressed confidence in Alh. Mustapha Adekunle (Sego) to lead the Lagos State chapter effectively.

Addressing the followers and supporters of NURTW, MC Olumo urged everyone to maintain the prevailing peace and harmony in Lagos.

He acknowledged the pivotal role played by various key figures in facilitating the resolution, extending his appreciation to His Excellency Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Hon. Tayo Ayinde (Chief of Staff), Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Director of DSS, Dapo Amao, Commissioner for Transportation, and S.A. on Transportation.

MC Olumo expressed gratitude for their fatherly roles and timely intervention.
